Our company was founded by Shara Francis, who began her career as a safety engineer at the OSHA Tampa Area office, where she spent over a decade conducting hundreds of investigations at both general industry workplaces and construction jobsites and enforcing numerous occupational safety and health regulations.

 

Shara recognized the importance of safety in the workplace from very early on in her career. She was consistently a top performer in the OSHA Tampa Area Office and emerged as a leader amongst her colleagues. In 2019, she was the recipient of the prestigious OSHA Region IV Gavel Award for outstanding deposition and testimony in the only one of her cases to go to trial. Her detailed and legally sufficient case file development strongly supported the willful violation that caused an employee's fatal accident. Still, Shara knew there had to be a more fulfilling role in the safety field and made it her mission to find it. Thus, OSHA Response Assistant was founded to be a guiding light for workplace safety, helping businesses without penalizing them.

 

Shara's extensive experience in the field has given her a deep understanding of the federal regulations and the importance of workplace safety. She has seen firsthand the impact of non-compliance and is committed to helping companies ensure the safety of their employees while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

 

Now, as a safety consultant with OSHA Response Assistant, LLC, Shara uses her expertise to assist businesses in navigating the complex world of OSHA enforcement.
